Sim's a girl.

Hell-o! I'm Sim.
I do wear a lot of makeup. And own a more than necessary number of nail polishes. Sometime, I even like how I dress.
This is a blog where I'll be posting
ALL the narcissistic thing that make me a girl.
Other than that, check out my
regular-ish fangirl-esque blog.

Purple lipliner and Revlon Matte lipstic in 010 - WINE NOT

Essence Lipliner, 11 - In the nude
Essence XXXL Shine Lipgloss, 19 Nude Candy

These combination is my go-to nude lip at the moment. They were super cheap, considering their lasting power and pigmentation. Especially the lipliner. And the lipgloss, even though it’s a bit TOO shiny for my taste, it smells like cotton candy :).

Girly, sparkle, warm colors.

Avène Eau Thermale : Light Hydrating Cream and Thermal Spring Water
This is a really good moisturizer, I use it every day, before I put on my foundation. And if the foundation I’m using is too dry for me, I even mix them up. I have combination skin, but during these cold months, it’s more on the dry side. So I would be lost without a moisturizer. This one is way too expensive for me, because I do tend to go through them fast.
The Thermal Water calms down irritated skin, but it doesn’t hydrate it. I use it after I pluck my eyebrows or shave my stache (i’m such a classy bitch for saying this out loud). Also, if I want to apply an eye shadow wet, I wet my brush with this. It makes the eye shadow last a bit longer and it makes it more intense. This is also an expensive product in my books, but it’s worth the money!

i envy your eyebrows … muchly

Yeah, I do get that from time to time. Thank you! I do like my eyebrows at this point. When I was younger, I hated them. Too big! But now, I love them. I still to pluck and cut them a bit, and I do fill them in with makeup, but I am content with them. And it’s an easy and quick eyebrow routine, so that’s good too :)

Essence stay all day long lasting eyeshadow, in 08 - THE MAGIC MUST GO ON

This is a cream eyeshadow that retails for 4$ at ulta.com. You get 5.5g and, texture wise, it’s not really a cream, but not really a mousse either.

It is a shimmering product, with little bits of glitter through it. It’s not highly pigmented, but it is buildable. I wouldn’t wear is on it’s on, I use it as a base color for normal eyeshadows.

In the third picture, the left swatch is applied with a finger, and the right one with a brush. For some reason, the pigment is stronger when using a brush. It’s not just the crappy picture, it trully is that way:).

Overall, it’s good value for money. For a drugstore product, it’s pretty decent. It doesn’t crease that much, but I always use it with a primer underneath. I used it under some red eyeshadow (as you can see in the last picture) and I liked the effect it gave.
